There’s seriously nothing in the entire world that pisses me off more than slow drivers.

It annoys me that he uses the Powercat as an avatar. It makes us all look like jerks.

Traffic is... [consults Internet] “literally?”... LITERALLY worse than Hitler.

That’s a very broad comment to make, especially when there are so many opinions on what defines a “slow” driver.
I’m not sure whether I want to give him a star or not. And judging by his attitude in subsequent comments, I don’t think I want to get sucked in to a big debate.

They aren’t entirely wrong.
You know what, scratch that. They just aren’t wrong. Period. At least not in Ontario, where the limits are so artificially low that one person doing the limit can screw the whole highway over.

I read it as a figure of speech kind of way but he makes a great point. Often times it’s the indecisiveness of other drivers which causes accidents and traffic jams.
That person who realized 100 FT before their exit that they need to move 3 lanes over. The person who is being let into another lane but is too scared to do it so they drive even slower with their blinker on trying to widen the gap they want to go into. The person slamming on their brakes when they see the road is curving up ahead because they are scared they are going to lose control of their car somehow.

Not traffic, but slow drivers.
If a press of a button can get rid of Bashar Al Assad or slow drivers. He’ll pick slow drivers.

My point is about the last sentence. Not whether traffic is caused by slow drivers.

still can’t get over those 80Km/h limits on rural highways.
once you cross over to the quebec side the roads are in worse shape but the limits are 90km/h.

Yeah probably hyperbole. People need to use it more sparingly. I know some people who talk like this. Every declaration is hyperbole. “I would bet everything in the world that the Subway on 5th is open right now!” If you’re really sure about it just say it, “I am really sure that the Subway on 5th is open right now.”
“Slow drivers are very upsetting to me.”

Never mind that, how about the 100km/h roads that were designed, in the 1970's, for 1970's cars, to be safe at 140? I wouldn’t want to travel for long periods of time over 140 anyway, but that has more to do with an ancient 4-speed than anything. A new Ram will cruise happily at 170+ and be turning the RPM’s I do at 130.

100kmh is also the limit on quebec freeways. 90 on every other highway, and 70-80 on back roads.
but you know like I do, the speed limits that are in place today are not there for safety reasons, they are only there for monetary gains to the state.
i’ve been driving for over 20 years on 90km/h roads, while going 110.
only difference is that no since the fines are insane i actually stay at 110. back in the 90s i would cruise at 150. now at 150 i would loose y license.

Well, the limits were put in for efficiency reason... and then when the immediate crisis was over they realized they were making a ton of money...

Traffic is caused by people bunching together. Full stop. A fluid where all the molecules are super close together and tightly bound flows slowly, like molasses. A fluid where all the molecules are further apart flows like water, quite swiftly.
Leaving space and allowing people to merge relieves traffic jams.

I don’t want to get pulled into a discussion either, but what he mentioned is part of the variables. I would tweak it slightly though:
Traffic with slow drivers that don’t want to really get to their destination because they can’t get find fun in the mundane **** called being a grownup (ie., work, groceries, errands, paying bills, etc)
